A tuning (frequency response) is just how loud each part of the sound is:
- Bass - the low rumble and punch.
- Mids - vocals and most instruments.
- Treble - sparkle, cymbals and air.
- The tagged 0 dB line is baseline flatness - nothing exaggerated; every slider move is a deviation from it.
- Move the sliders and hear it happen.
